What are your check in and check out times?
Check-in time is 3 pm
Check-out time for the cottages is 10 am and check-out time for Kearney House is 11 am.

What happens upon arrival?
As accommodations are on an island, arrangements will be made for the 5-minute boat ride to the island by the Waupoos Marina water taxi service. Your booking fee includes arrival and departure taxi rides, as well as parking. Once guests arrive at the Waupoos Island Public Dock, we provide a short hay wagon ride to the cottages, and help guests unload their luggage.
How do I get back and forth from the island to the mainland?
The Waupoos Marina water taxi holds up to 9 people. If you wish to leave the island during your stay, you can pre-arrange a return trip for $25 (1 day notice is required). If you have your own boat, the marina also offers boat launch, car parking and docking services. For rates call the Waupoos Marina at 613-476-2926.
When is the water taxi available?
On your check-in day, the water taxi is available between 2 pm and 5 pm. If you arrive after 5 pm, there is a good chance that the marina will be closed and no one will be available to operate the taxi. In the event that you're running late and won't arrive at the marina by 5 pm, phone the marina at 613-476-2926 to see if other arrangements can be made (and you could be charged a premium for this service).
On your check-out day, the water taxi is available between 9 am and 12 noon.
If you wish to leave the island during your stay, you can pre-arrange to use the water taxi anytime between 9 am and 5 pm. Return trips are $25 and 1 day notice is required.
What should we bring with us?
You'll need to bring your own sheets and towels. Sheets can be provided for an additional fee of $15/cottage or $30 for the Kearney House. Blankets and pillows are provided.
Also supplied are kitchen linens, toilet paper, paper towels, salt & pepper, dish detergent, propane, and garbage bags.
Are the accommodations cleaned on a daily basis?
Cleaning service is NOT included in the rental fee and guests are required to leave the cottage the same way it was found. Cleaning supplies and equipment are provided for guests to use. Cottages are inspected between bookings to ensure cleanliness.
Are pets allowed?
Sorry, pets are not allowed on the island.
