Harinui Farm

Harinui Farm is a large sheep farm on Waupoos Island in Prince Edward County, Ontario, Canada.

Maclean's magazine (May 2003) called Prince Edward County "One of Canada's 8 Great Escapes!"

We offer country vacations in our summer cottages and brick farmhouse, also known as The Kearney House.

Waupoos Island is a five minute boat ride across the water from the hamlet of Waupoos (near Picton).

The Island has great swimming, fishing, and miles of peaceful, country lanes and shoreline to walk and explore. View a map of our island: print version (pdf) or web version (gif).

Although the sheep pasture on the island, they are fenced off from the cottages and house and keep their distance from visitors.

The Island has a rich history and we are happy to answer any questions you may have about it or about farming sheep.
